Value proposition

Allows operator to use unlimited speeds in access-interface (eg. ADSL or FTTH), regardless of customer’s internet-connection speed. Thus, operator can sell high-speed services (eg. network-PVR or IPTV) to anyone with sufficiently fast access-method.

Provides cost savings by simplifying provisioning: No longer need to implement complicated provisioning in the access-interface.
